Information: Aircraft encounter extreme thermal environment challenges (such as aerodynamic heating, high-temperature radiation, and low-temperature icing) during aerospace missions. The effective management of an aircraft's thermal environment is crucial to equipment reliability, mission accomplishment, and ultimately, flight safety. This special issue focuses on aerospace thermal environment analysis, the design of thermal protection materials, system optimization and control tailored to mission needs, and addresses common thermal management challenges posed by extreme environments, including hypersonic flight, high heat flux dissipation in electronic equipment, and icing. It offers insights for the optimal design and research and development of aerospace vehicles.
